The Elementary Principal's Office in Primghar has moved to the SE corner of the building (across the street from the law office by the school). This will be their temporary office until the new permanent location is completed sometime next year. Visitors, please enter this door.

June 7 to July 21: Each summer, the South O'Brien Athletic Booster Club sponsors a Speed Camp for all JH & HS athletes. Students completing grade 6 may participate. Registration/Release forms are available in the JH/HS Office and by using a link on the Booster Club page. Forms should be returned to the office or either Coach Goodchild or Coach Simmelink. If you have any questions, please contact one of the coaches.

Daytime visitors must report to the office and sign in upon entering a South O'Brien building. You will receive a visitor lanyard to wear. Thank you for your cooperation!


Peanut allergies
An allergic reaction can be life threatening.
All of South O’Brien Elementary has been designated as peanut allergy aware. Practices have been put in place to help prevent student exposure to peanut product.


Free or Reduced Price School Meals
You can apply for free or reduced price school meals AT ANY TIME. Forms are available in either officeor in the August online newsletter.

Please collect Campbell's Soup labels, Box Tops for Education, Sunny D Labels, and Pizza Ranch Wagons. Send them to school with your child.

The South O'Brien FFA accepts old cell phones which will be sent in to be recycled. FFA also collects WIX filters box tops.
