The August Newsletter is now available online.


Grades 9-12 Wolverine Volleyball Camp 2015 will start on Tuesday, Aug. 4 instead of Monday, Aug 3.
Finishing of the gym floor will not be completed by Aug 3.  Camp will run from Aug 4-6, 8-10:30.
Participants need to bring shoes that can be worn outside.


D-ROCK Golf Tournament July 25. Thank you to everyone who organized, participated, or donated to this event! All proceeds go to the Derrick Rensink Memorial Fund, benefitting the South O’Brien School District.

Driver Education 2016
Students may now register for Driver Education classes which will be held in the spring of 2016. Hover over the Academics tab above and select Driver Education for more information.


The Wolverine Flag Football registration/information form for boys and girls in grades 2-6 (2015-16 school year) and other information is available on the Athletic Booster Club page and on the Football page. Register by August 28.

Free or Reduced Price School Meals
You can apply for free or reduced price school meals AT ANY TIME. You may complete the forms supplied in the August online newsletter. Forms are also available in either office. Select the South O'Brien tab above and then scroll down to Newsletter.


Backpack for Kids Project
Please donate food items or cash. To read about the project, hover over the Academics tab above, then select Backpack 4 Kids. Thank you to those who have already generously donated to the project.


Every little bit helps...
Please collect Campbell's Soup labels, Box Tops for Education, Sunny D Labels, and Pizza Ranch Wagons. Send them to school with your child.

Peanut allergies
An allergic reaction can be life threatening.
All of South O’Brien Elementary has been designated as peanut allergy aware. Practices have been put in place to help prevent student exposure to peanut products. Please read the details on the Elementary page or the Health and Wellness page.
