Congratulations and Good Luck!
The South O'Brien Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2013 will be held Sunday, May 19 at 2 pm in the HS West Gym.

Congratulations to the seniors who earned scholarships that were announced at the Awards Assembly on May 14. Thank you to everyone who generously supported our students by contributing in some way to the scholarships.

Congratulations to Eric Koehlmoos on his 3rd place Bronze medal in the Energy category at the World Environmental Science Fair in Houston this past weekend. Eric competed against over 500 science students from 68 countries from around the world and the U.S.

The girls golf team placed third at regionals on May 13. Naomi Petrich advances to the regional final on May 20 at Pocahontas.

Please collect Land-O-Lakes lids, Campbell's Soup labels, Box Tops for Education, Sunny D Labels, and Pizza Ranch Wagons. Send them to school with your child.

If you are interested in a JH yearbook, sign up in the HS Office and pay $5 by May 21.

Schedule Notes:
The last day of the 2012-13 school year is Fri, May 24. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm that day.

Congratulations to Mrs. Helen Steele who will retire at the end of this school year. Thank you for your many years of dedicated service to South O'Brien.
