........Celebrate American Education Week! ..........

O’Brien County Public Health will be conducting an H1N1 immunization clinic at South O'Brien Community School on Fri, Nov 20. They will be located at the Primghar site, in the lunchroom from 3:30-6:00 pm.
Parents/guardians must accompany any student in the elementary, grades ECSE-6th.
Students in grades 7-12 do not need to have a parent/guardian present, and those who have turned in signed permission slips will be bussed to Primghar on Friday for the H1N1 immunization clinic. This will be done during the school day and your child will be back to their school before the end of the day in time to ride the busses home or attend athletic practices. Permission slips were distributed with report cards. You also may call the high school office for a copy. You may send the signed form to school anytime.

Need a gift idea? How about a yearbook? The yearbook staff has copies of older yearbooks they'd like to sell. Check on the yearbook page.

MUSIC PARENTS: Remember that a minimum payment of $150 for the Music Boosters trip to New York City is due DECEMBER 1st. Also, all forms should be submitted at that time.

South O’Brien has developed a plan for delivery of services to special needs students. A committee of teachers, parents and administrators reviewed the plan and submitted it to Northwest Area Education Agency for approval. The committee invites community members to comment on the plan. If you have any comments, please contact any administrator. To read the plan, click here for a pdf version or here for a Word document version.

Every little bit helps...
Please collect Land-O-Lakes lids, Campbell's Soup labels, Box Tops for Education, and Pizza Ranch Wagons. Send them to school with your child.

Remember to occasionally refresh your page to see the revisions we make during the day.
