Congratulations and Good Luck to the Sheldon-South O’Brien Wrestlers! The team won the Sectional Tournament on Sat, Feb 6 and will continue to compete in the duals tournament on Tues Feb 9 at Spirit Lake. SSO had 9 wrestlers qualify individually and they will compete in the District Tournament on Sat, Feb 13 in Cherokee.

Jazz Band earned second place in Class 2A at the Jack Oatts Jazz Festival in Earlham on Feb 6. South O’Brien took honors for the outstanding saxophone section and the outstanding soloist for Class 2A, Logan Lenhart! Several students were also honored with individual soloist awards.

The girls basketball team plays Sheldon in the first round of district tournament play in Sheldon on Sat, Feb 13 at 7 pm.
The boys basketball team plays Cherokee in Paullina at 7 pm on Monday, Feb. 15 in the first round of the District Tournament.
